Tap into lucrative Turkish and regional energy markets

Ankara, Türkiye, March 15-16, 2016 — Canadian companies are invited to participate in a Pipeline Lifecycle Integrity Workshop. The event, organized by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, will profile Canadian expertise in the extractive sector.

Nearly three‑quarters of the world’s oil reserves are located in countries neighbouring Türkiye. Moving these products will increasingly demand more pipelines transiting through new innovative channels.

There are both trade and investment opportunities for Canadian companies in the Turkish and regional energy sector, particularly for refinery financing, pipelines and oil and gas equipment and services suppliers, vocational training and R&D.

This event will provide Canadian oil and gas companies with the knowledge and local contacts that will allow them to better integrate into Turkish and regional markets and take advantage of emerging business opportunities. The audience will consist of energy sector stakeholders from Türkiye and neighbouring countries, specifically recruited by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service.

Canadian companies will also have the opportunity to exhibit their products and services at the trade booths. The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service will work closely with Canadian companies to develop a program of corporate calls, business‑to‑business opportunities and networking events.
