Event description

Since 2017, the Canadian Consulate has partnered with Livres Canada Books to host a Canada Pavilion at the CCBF. With the Bologna Children’s Book Fair as a close collaborator, the event has quickly become the leading industry fair dedicated to children’s content in the Asia-Pacific region.  The 2024 event featured extensive professional programming, bringing together nearly 500 publishers and over 17,000 industry professionals from across China and abroad.

Canadian publishers are invited to attend the event in person to showcase their latest titles and meet with Chinese publishers in the Canada booth located in the business-to-business (B2B) area of the show floor. Canadian publishers unable to travel to China can also register to attend virtually and have their books displayed in the Canada Pavilion to be promoted by the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) team.

The TCS will cover the cost of booth rental and setup. Publishers participating inperson will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and related expenses.

Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that selected participants will have to confirm your participation in-person or virtually by August 15, and provide title lists no later than August 29. Publications will have to be shipped to Canada Books by September 5 (at publishers’ own expense).
