The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Singapore is organising a business delegation to participate in the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) in October 2025.

SWITCH is a platform that connects innovators, investors, and industry leaders from the Global-Asia ecosystem. The event seeks to drive partnerships across priority sectors through dynamic networking and cross-sector collaboration. The 2025 edition has special significance as Singapore marks its 60th year of Independence (SG60), with focus themes including:

  • smart cities
  • trade and connectivity
  • healthcare
  • sustainable technologies

For Canadian innovators, SWITCH 2025 offers a timely opportunity to:

  • showcase solutions
  • engage key stakeholders
  • explore growth across Southeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific region

This mission will be delivered through four distinct streams:

  1. Smart Cities
  2. FinTech
  3. FinTech – Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) 
  4. MedTech – Canadian International Innovation Program, Partnership Development Activity (CIIP-PDA)

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from Canadian companies interested in joining the Smart Cities and FinTech streams of the mission. 

Recruitment for the FinTech CTA and MedTech CIIP-PDA are being managed separately through their respective program channels.

Who should apply

Smart Cities

Canadian companies providing innovative Smart City technology solutions and services. We are especially looking for women-led companies with B2B solutions embedded with innovative technology, such as AI, Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning (ML). Your solution should address key areas for Smart Cities, such as:

  • integrated planning & design (e.g. Digital Twin for infrastructure management)
  • operations and maintenance
  • robotics and automation
  • digital transformation 

FinTech

Canadian companies providing financial technology (FinTech) products and services. We are especially looking for companies with B2B solutions driven by innovative technology, such as AI, machine learning (ML) and blockchain. Your solution should address key areas for the financial services industry, such as:

  • cybersecurity and data privacy
  • scam and fraud detection
  • cost optimization and efficiency
  • customer experience and personalized engagement
  • digital transformation

Once your registration is confirmed, you will be required to complete a Pre-Mission Survey by the recruitment closing date of August 15, 2025. Please note that space for this mission is limited, and Expressions of Interest submitted after this date may not be accepted.
