Event description

The Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) is North America’s premier water quality event. It brings together global leaders in water technology, including utilities, engineers, consultants, and manufacturers. Renowned for its expansive exhibition floor and high-impact programming, WEFTEC is a perfect platform for Canadian companies to showcase their innovations and explore export opportunities across the U.S., Mexico and Latin American markets.

The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) business program takes place from September 29 to October 1, during the second half of the conference. Delivered in partnership with the provinces of Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan, the program connects Canadian companies with Trade Commissioners from across the U.S., Mexicoand Latin America. These in-market experts offer tailored market intelligence, guidance on navigating local business environments, and support for expanding into new markets.

A key feature of the TCS program includes curated B2B meetings, where Trade Commissioners recruit buyers from the United States, Mexico and Latin America to meet with Canadian participants on-site. Clients can meet with attending Trade Commissioners at the on-site Export Cafe.
