DFAIT is hosting a Environmental Industry Opportunities in Mexico webinar on July 28th, 2010 at 10:30AM (Saskatchewan time) in partnership with Saskatchewan Environmental Industry and Managers Association (SEIMA), Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP), Western Economic Diversification (WD), and Enterprise Saskatchewan (ES). The webinar will be presented by Rosalba Cruz, the Environmental Industries Trade Commissioner from the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City and two in-market consultants (Mexico City and Monterrey). Each consultant will highlight trade opportunities within their respective region as well as provide information on how to do business in Mexico. In addition, one-on-one meetings with the in-market consultants and Trade Commissioner can be arranged for the afternoon of July 28th. These meetings will take place in Saskatoon or by videoconference.

A trade mission to Mexico City and Monterrey in follow-up to the webinar will be taking place from September 27th - October 1st, 2010. The mission’s programming will begin in Mexico City with the Green Expo 2010 and carry onto Monterrey. The mission will also consist of one-on-one meetings with Mexican companies in both cities.
