Join New TCS Sub-group: Doing Business in Europe
From the European Union to the emerging eastern markets of Russia and Kazakhstan, the TCS has more than 30 offices across this region. At times overshadowed by the rampant growth of some emerging markets, Europe remains Canada’s second largest trading partner after the United States, and maintains approximately 30% of the world’s GDP over the past decade. With nearly a third of the world’s top-500 firms based in the region, about half of the world’s trade in goods and services involves Europe, providing Canadian companies with a unique entry point for Global Value Chains, two-way investment opportunities, and science and technology collaborations. Europe is diverse, expanding, and full of opportunities for Canadian businesses and researchers.
Members stand to gain from the lively discussion on their activities, experiences and successes in the European market, while at the same time broadening and deepening their commercial network.
