Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC)
Canada is internationally recognized for safe, high-quality agriculture and food products. The goal of AAFC is to make Canada a leader in food safety and environmental standards, as a benchmark for the world. The Agri-Food Trade Service provides access to market information, trade counselling and export support activities.

Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA)
ACOA works with many organizations to create opportunities for economic growth in Atlantic Canada by helping businesses become more competitive, innovative and productive. ACOA has many programs and services available to businesses, communities, and other organizations.

Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)
Helps companies finance the expansion of domestic markets or explore foreign markets.  BDC can assist in: assessing your global readiness; identifying potential markets and conduct market research; implementing your business plan. BDC consultants can assist you onsite and help you access a global network through BDC's global partners.

Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)
CIDA provides funding for international development programs and projects through contributions to Canadian and international institutions. CIDA also contracts with Canadian companies to implement programs and projects.

Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development
Provides many programs and services to assist businesses, communities and various economic development organizations in growing and strengthening the Province’s economy.

Export Development Canada (EDC)
Provides financing, insurance and bonding services to Canadian companies that export goods and services, or invest in other countries.  With operations in 200 markets worldwide, including 130 emerging markets, EDC helps Canadian companies manage risk and capitalize on trade opportunities around the world.

Industry Canada
Works to help make Canada more productive and competitive in the global, knowledge-based economy. The department is responsible for a broad range of sector and framework policies, programs and services. Industry Canada has a long history of leadership within government in helping to secure market access for Canadian industry.

National Research Council (NRC)
Canada’s NRC helps businesses like yours grow by supporting and generating research and industry innovation.
