Trade Commissioner Service - Venezuela
Welcome to the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in Caracas. Our mandate is to promote and protect Canada's economic interests in Venezuela. In this context, we support the efforts of Canadian companies which have selected Venezuela as a target market for their products, services and technologies. From Caracas, we also cover the territory of Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles (Bonaire and Curaçao).
Venezuela is Canada's second largest export market in South America for goods as well as for services (after Brazil). In 2006, goods exports from Canada increased by 14% and the cumulative stock of Canadian investments in Venezuela amounted to $574 million.
