The Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan is located in a wealthy global centre of corporate headquarters, science and technology researchers, innovators, standards developers, venture capitalists, and decision-makers. Tokyo's GDP is greater than that of Canada and is home to the largest number of Fortune 500 companies in the world.

To tap into this market's opportunities, there are more than 20 Trade Commissioners ready to serve you through a common entry point, the InfoCentre. Our International Business Development mandate encompasses trade and investment promotion, and collaboration in Science and Technology.

In addition, the Embassy in Tokyo is responsible for Economic & Financial Policy (Economic section), Arts and Cultural Industries and Educational Recruitment (Public Affairs section). Tourism is handled separately.
