Welcome to the offices of the Trade Commissioner Service in Australia. The High Commission in Canberra is primarily involved in market access issues and the development of industrial, economic and scientific cooperation with Australia. It facilitates strategic alliances and investment. It also handles business development and trade enquiries in the following sectors: government and defense procurement; aerospace; agriculture, food and beverages; fish and seafood products, agricultural technology and equipment; education; forest industries; metals, minerals and related equipment, services and technology; and science and technology, and is responsible for business development in New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands. Canberra co-operates with the Consulate General of Canada in Sydney and the Consulate and Trade Office of Canada in Auckland.
