Japan

Japan is Canada's second biggest export market, and fifth largest source of investment in Canada Japan is also a leading partner for science, research and development. The Canadian Commercial program comprises 4 points of service.

The Embassy of Canada to Japan

Effective April 1, 2007, as part of an ongoing review of how best to allocate its resources, the Government of Canada has decided to incorporate the services provided at the Consulates in Osaka and Fukuoka into the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo generally and specifically the Canadian Consulate in Nagoya for Osaka and Canadian Government Trade Office in Kitakyushu for Fukuoka. The Embassy and other posts in Japan will continue to offer programs and services and to promote strong commercial relations between Japan and Canada.
