Event Description: 

The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Canberra will organize a program for Canadian ag-tech and agri-food tech companies on the margins of EvokeAG2023, the leading agri-food tech event in Australia. This program is designed to serve the needs of Canadian ag-tech and agri-food tech companies who are innovative, have the potential to scale, and the means, commitment, and passion to leverage opportunities in the Australian market.

Participation in EvokeAG 2023 offers an excellent opportunity for Canadian companies to promote their technologies, services, and products and meet key industry players, and potential buyers, investors, and partners. Participation in the event will also facilitate in-depth understanding of the Australian ag-tech ecosystem, as well as valuable networking opportunities. The last iteration of the event, held in February 2020, was attended by over 1,400 delegates, including over 200 international delegates from over 20 countries, such as the United States, New Zealand, and Ireland. 

Leveraging this major industry event, the TCS Canberra aims to support high-potential, scale up-stage Canadian companies with technologies, services, and products in the subsectors of the ag-tech and agri-food tech industries, including: 

Please note: The TCS services provided to the Canadian delegation are free. EvokeAG delegates are responsible for covering the costs of their travel and accommodations, as well as registration for EvokeAG 2023.

CanExport SMEs funding:

Delegates are invited to apply for CanExport SMEs funding as soon as possible. CanExport SMEs is open to projects in any sector, and reimburses up to 50% of eligible expenses (including costs related to travel and accommodations).
