Event Description:
The Brazil International Games (BIG) Festival is the largest gaming festival in Latin America. It provides a wide variety of activities, including:
- an expo area
- business area
- electronic sports (ESport) arena
- business-to-business (B2B) sessions
- conferences and key note presentations
- indie games competition
There has also been a notable increase of participation from international gaming studios over the years. Last year’s edition had nearly 30,000 in-person participants and 1.6 million online, with over $100 million in business generated.
This year, Canada will have a booth in a high-traffic area for Canadian gaming studios and third party service providers as well as academic institutions offering gaming and programming courses. A targeted B2B program, networking event, and local studio tour will be arranged.
