Event Description:

The Office of the Embassy of Canada to Cambodia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women's Affairs of Cambodia and the ASEAN Cambodian Women Entrepreneur Network, will be hosting a summit on Business Women in Technology (BWIT) on the margins of the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Summit from October 13th to 14th of 2022. This summit highlights and provides new business opportunities for women who own or hold leadership positions in Cleantech or Information and Communication Technology (ICT) firms. 

The first morning of the program (October 13) will feature a seminar event, in which participants will learn about the essential business processes required for success in the Cambodian market. Points of interest include, but are not limited to:

From the afternoon until evening, participants would have the opportunity to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Women Entrepreneurs Conference and Award Ceremony and network with women entrepreneurs from all 10 ASEAN countries.

On the second day (October 14), participants will have the opportunity to hear from potential clients in Cambodia about relevant projects and participate in a business-to-business (B2B) program shortly after. Canadian companies will also be allotted time to pitch their services and products and attend a networking lunch involving all constituents.
