Register today for key Turkish defence industry fair

Istanbul, Turkey, May 5-8, 2015 — Canadian companies in the defense and security industries interested in selling their products and services to Turkey, as well as in European and Middle Eastern markets, should consider IDEF 2015, Turkey's international defense industry fair.

With the support of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in Istanbul, the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI), and the Quebec and Ontario governments, are planning a trade mission to profile the Canadian defense industry.

Turkey is modernizing its military. The projects focus on producing indigenous aircraft, navel platforms and armour, missile defence systems, RPVs and state-of-the-art electronic intelligence, electronic warfare, as well as communications, command and control systems.

Joint Annual Conference

Canadian companies planning on attending the event may also participate in the Joint Annual Conference, held on May 4, co-hosted by the Canadian-Turkish Business Council and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey. This conference will focus on the region’s vast opportunities for Canadian firms.

For more information, visit the event website or contact Dalal Zayouna, Executive Director, CTBC.

IDEF 2015, under the auspices of Turkey’s Ministry of National Defence, is one of the largest defense exhibitions in the region and offers an opportunity to meet with key decision makers in Turkey's Armed Forces, along with distributors, potential partners and prime contractors throughout the region.
