New tool helps Canadian SMEs access largest natural gas reserve in North America

A new report entitled The Marcellus Supply Chain Study: Research & Assessment of Supplier Opportunities in the Marcellus Upstream Oil & Gas Sector, can be used by Canadian businesses to pursue business development with tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers active in the Marcellus Shale Gas Reserve (MSGR).

The report was commissioned by the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in New York and produced by Rainmaker Global Business Development. The MSGR is the largest natural gas reserve in North America and accounts for nearly 20% of total U.S. gas production. This historic resource has only recently become accessible to energy companies through the development of new technologies that allow these companies to produce gas efficiently and economically.

This study includes an overview of the Marcellus shale reserves, production, growth outlook, supplier tiers and current supplier trends, as well as 20 company profiles and assessments of tier 1 and 2 suppliers.
