Germany digital health - Canadian Technology Accelerator
We are here to help you expand your operations in international markets and will continue doing so during these challenging times. Due to travel restrictions, we are currently offering our CTA programs virtually.
Are you ready to grow your digital health company to Europe's largest healthcare market? Germany spends more than 570 billion Canadian dollars each year on healthcare and recently introduced a regulatory fast track to get "prescribable applications" (Digitale Gesundheitsanwendungen, or DiGA) reimbursed by the statutory health insurance covering almost 90% of the German population. DiGA typically target specific conditions such as diabetes or depression, and include standard software, Software as a Service (SaaS), and mobile as well as browser-based apps.
This Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) program is for Canadian companies that want to:
- benefit from this new regulatory framework for digital health in Germany
- fulfill the requirements indicated in the Fast-Track Process for Digital Health Applications (DiGAs) guide for manufacturers, service providers and users
- get their solutions listed in the new digital health registry of Germany's statutory health insurance
This CTA program can help you gain important knowledge and connections to grow in this highly promising market.
