Important Message about CanExport Innovation

CanExport Innovation has resumed funding for travel and travel-dependent activities that comply with Government of Canada’s travel advisories. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that travel restrictions are lifted in Canada and in destination countries before submitting an application.

While travel-dependent activities are now eligible for funding, the program will continue supporting non-travel activities to help prepare for R&D opportunities in international markets. We encourage you to make informed decisions to minimize risk and protect your health and the health of your employees.

Please refer to Government of Canada travel advisories for the most recent information.

Innovators from Canadian organizations may access up to $75,000 in funding to assist with research and development (R&D) for a single technology. We cover up to 75% of costs to pursue and sign collaborative R&D agreements with international partners and investors.
