Despite the oil crisis, Brazil’s fragile economy and Petrobras’ financial difficulties, new opportunities are developing in the local market. Reasons why both domestic and international players are considering and effectively investing, exploring and developing new businesses in Brazil include:

It is expected that Brazil will continue to lead global offshore platform orders in the coming years. Equipment, services and technologies providing solutions to the entire offshore business value chain are of high interest, mainly offshore decommissioning, offshore platform maintenance, dynamic positioning, navigation systems, remote sensing, wireless maritime monitoring, artificial intelligence for offshore operations, and wireless data transmission in subsea environments.
