Event description

The Trade Commissioner Service is pleased to invite you to the African Development Bank (AfDB) Business Opportunities Seminar (BOS) 2024 (May 28), and a Canada-AfDB networking event (May 29).

The AfDB BOS will feature presentations and panel discussions conducted under the direction of the Bank's sector experts. The Bank will share information, and updates on the procurement framework, and on how to access business opportunities, be it corporate or project linked. These activities will help strengthen the relationship between the Bank and its shareholders and provide all the necessary tools needed to cooperate with the Bank Group in a wide range of sectors.

The Bank will organize bilateral discussions with an AfDB expert on May 29. Canadian companies and AfDB sector heads of department will also have an opportunity to network in the evening of May 29.

The networking event organized by Global Affairs Canada and the Office Liaison to AfDB, offers a unique platform for Canadian companies to interact with AfDB's managers from critical sectors including energy, transport, water and sanitation, healthcare, education, information and communications technologies, environment. Heads of department will have the opportunity to give a presentation on their department and provide an overview of their project pipeline.
