KIMES 2022 (Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show) is one of the largest and leading Korean medical devices event hosted by Korea E&EX Inc, KMDICA (Korea Medical Devices Industrial Cooperative Association) and KMDIA (Korea Medical Devices Industry Association). This virtual trade mission will target to recruit Canadian medical device companies, including those focussing on digital health. The event will take place for 4 days as an offline exhibition which will feature the most up-to-date industry trends and developments.
The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) at the Embassy of Canada in Korea is organizing a Virtual Trade Mission to KIMES 2022. The TCS will host a Canada Pavilion to represent and showcase participating companies during the event, where around 50,000 visitors are expected. Also, the TCS will organize pre-arranged virtual B2B meetings for participating companies so that they will be able to virtually meet with various leading Korean companies and institutions.
South Korea has the world’s most rapidly aging population, and is expected to become a post-aged society in 2025. This situation generates increasing medical costs and an increasing rate of chronic diseases. Given these trends and Korea’s achievements during the COVID-19 pandemic, Korea’s Life Sciences industry is drawing attention globally and gaining momentum for further growth.
If you are a Canadian medical devices company interested in exploring business opportunities in South Korea, the Virtual Trade Mission to KIMES 2022 will be a great opportunity to explore the market.
