Target Audience: Suppliers of direct components for the production of vehicles; suppliers of molds, tooling, instrumentation, automation and specialized services for manufacturing; suppliers of general services for industry.
The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in Guadalajara (Mexico) is partnering with the governments of Ontario and of Quebec to organize the participation of Canadian suppliers in Automotive Suppliers Forum in León, which this year will be completely online and will take place from September 17 to 30. In 2019, more than 20 Canadian manufacturers participated in this show which attracted a large group of senior buyers of OEMs and T1s established in El Bajío region, Mexico’s most dynamic automotive cluster. The show is segmented in three areas: direct supply; indirect supply; and services.
Now in a full online version, Canadian suppliers will be able to meet buyers at a minimal cost through a B2B platform and individual support services provided by the show organizers, the TCS and the provincial governments.
Prior to the online B2B, Canadian participants will be able to also join a webinar on current challenges and opportunities presented by a senior Mexican executive of the automotive industry, organized by the Trade Commissioner Service, the Government of Ontario and Investissement Québec.
Meetings will be 30 minutes long and will be scheduled individually depending on the availability of the buyer and supplier. Meetings will take place between 9:00 AM Mexico Central time (10:00 EST) and 6:00 PM (Mexico time), with a break between 1 and 3 PM. Between meetings there will be breaks of 10 minutes.
