Event Description:

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is proud to participate in Startup Global 2022 (formerly the Canadian Export Challenge), presented by Startup Canada in collaboration with Export Development Canada (EDC) and UPS.

Startup Global is taking place from February to October this year and will help support the growth of Canadian entrepreneurs and SMEs in learning how to effectively do business around the world through free digital events and resources, including:

Startup Day:

The TCS will also be participating in Startup Canada’s Startup Day. Startup Day takes place on October 20, and gathers entrepreneurs, innovators, industry executives, and government representatives to empower Canada’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. Participants can attend virtually, or in-person at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Canada’s Chief Trade Commissioner, Sara Wilshaw, will be moderating a panel on how we can create more inclusive landscapes for exporters from diverse backgrounds to grow and scale their businesses. The Grand Finale of the Startup Global Pitch Competition also takes place as part of Startup Day, where the TCS will be participating in the judging!
