Event description

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in Türkiye invites high potential and innovative Canadian companies to apply to the Canada-Türkiye Sustainability Challenge 2024, a proven high intensity program tailored to connect with Türkiye's largest and most influential business conglomerates.

The Sustainability Challenge is a unique occasion for Canadian companies to directly access Turkish decision-makers from three of the country's largest conglomerates and demonstrate how they can help achieve their sustainability goals. Ultimately, it is an unmissable opportunity to position your company in an economically vibrant region through PoC, investment opportunity or tech collaboration with these leading organizations.

The Turkish companies have shared challenges in the fields of energy storage solutions, advanced materials and renewable energy technologies (see more details on the website).

The program is a three-step approach:

  1. Digital matchmaking and pitch sessions with the Turkish Challengers (May-June 2024)
  2. Onboarding and Market Intelligence Sessions (July-August 2024)
  3. Visit to Istanbul to advance negotiations (September 2024)

You will find the application page on the website, along with the criteria of selection, the program schedule, the subsectors of interest, and the important deadlines. Applications close on April 26.
