The TCS is joining hands with the Canada Arab Business Council, Toronto Region Board of Trade, and Ontario Government to host an E-Commerce Virtual Trade Mission in February 2021. 

UAE consumers lead the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA) region in e-commerce spending, and the UAE is an important gateway to Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets and beyond. 

Canadian companies are invited to learn about opportunities in e-commerce in the GCC from subject matter experts on the ground.  Selected companies will also have the opportunity to connect with industry buyers and partners.

Trade Commissioner Nicole Harbauer (UAE / EAU (InfoCentre) UAECommerce@international.gc.ca) specializes in the Consumer Products and E-Commerce sectors for the UAE market.  Trade Commissioners from other GCC markets will also be participating, and can provide information on this and other local events, as well as advice on business development in the region. Services from the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service are offered free of charge to Canadian companies and organizations.
