The Boston Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) is an award-winning program in a key innovation market. Boston is home to a world-leading biotechnology clusters and is supported by a strong tech landscape.

Boston provides tremendous excellent opportunities for Canadian companies, due to its established ecosystem and high concentration of strategic partners, investors and clients. 

This CTA global business development program can give you the knowledge and connections you need to enter and succeed in this market. 

It will be delivered in a hybrid format, with education and mentoring done virtually, and an in-market component focused on business development.

Eligibility criteria

We are seeking Canadian innovators who have:

  • a differentiated and validated technology or product
  • a revenue-generating business (exception for life sciences companies who must be seed or beyond, with over $1 million in non-dilutive and equity financing)
  • traction in the marketplace with at least a minimum viable product and quantifiable evidence of maturity (revenue, number of users or investment)
  • demonstrated product-market fit by defining your target audience and the problem you solve
  • a passionate, strong and committed management team with at least one senior manager (C-level or founder) who can commit to participating in the entire program, and a seasoned advisory board
  • clear objectives and a strategy for entering Boston along with matching key performance indicators
  • readiness to talk with potential partners
  • financial resources to cover in-market costs (if travel restrictions are lifted)

How the program works

This program runs for 7 months and will begin in April 2026. The program requires a commitment of two to four hours per week from at least one dedicated person of the executive team/founders (C-level).

  • roundtables
  • tailored business development support
