Canada–Spain BioPharma Innovation Exchange

The Trade Commissioner Service in Spain and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (Spain’s National Research Council) are teaming up to host an interactive webinar and online matchmaking event. 

This event is designed to help Canadian innovators and companies in biopharma discover the Spanish innovation ecosystem and connect with potential partners.

Virtual matchmaking: November 20 to December 4, 2025

Hear directly from leaders in research, commercialization, and industry at the opening webinar. Speakers will include representatives from Spanish and Canadian research councils, tech transfer organizations, and biopharma associations. You’ll also have an opportunity find the right collaborators to move your ideas forward by participating in virtual matchmaking sessions.

With the 2026/27 Horizon Europe funding calls just around the corner, now’s the perfect time to start building relationships, exploring shared interests, and setting the stage for future cross-border collaborations.
