Canada’s helicopter industry is well positioned to respond to China’s fast growing general aviation (GA) sector - specifically, its increasing demand for helicopter missions in the private and public sectors.

The Canadian Embassy in Beijing is organizing a series of business activities during the China Helicopter Exposition. The goal is to help participating Canadian companies:

  •  increase their brand visibility
  • collect local market information
  • network with local industry professionals

All these activities (except for a physical exhibition space within the Canada Pavilion) are free of charge for Canadian delegates.

Activity #1: Canada Pavilion (October 16 – to 19, 2025)

Canadian companies can register as an exhibitor within the Canada Pavilion or as an event visitor. A company space under the Canada Pavilion costs approximately CAD 2 000 (6~9 sqm), including construction fees. This basic setup will include 1 table, 2 chairs and 2 backdrop panels for company signage. The final fees charged to Canadian companies may change (up or down by maximum 20%) depending on federal and provincial government fundings. Interested Canadian companies are required to register with Canadian Embassy.

Activity #2: Interactions with trade commissioners and professional visitors of the expo (October 16 to 17, 2025)

Trade Commissioners from the Greater China TCS Network will attend the China Helicopter Exposition and will be available for providing local marketing briefings as well as facilitating introductions with local contacts.

Activity #3: B2B session with Chinese general aviation (GA) stakeholders

Companies in the Canadian delegation will have an opportunity to present their technologies, products and services to a local audience of 30 to 50 Chinese GA stakeholders. This includes Chinese aviation regulators, as well as major helicopter operators. Discussion surround areas of potential collaboration in local helicopter development programs and operational missions.

Activity #4: Canada welcome reception (TBC, subject to sponsorship availability)

The Embassy will coordinate with our esteemed sponsors to organize an evening reception for participating Canadian companies. This will be an opportunity to invite local contacts and customers, as well as network with local aerospace stakeholders and potential partners.
