The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is organising a business delegation to Singapore and Thailand in November 2025, with a focus on educational technologies (EdTech). This mission presents a unique opportunity to explore two dynamic markets within Southeast Asia. Participants will gain insights into regional trends shaping the future of education, training, and workforce development.
The mission will start in Singapore, with a focus on lifelong learning, upskilling, and reskilling. There, participant will connect with key stakeholders to explore:
- Singapore's nationally coordinated strategies for skills development
- Singapore's digital learning ecosystem
- innovation-driven approaches to workforce transformation
The mission will continue to Thailand, where participants will attend EdTex 2025. This is the country’s premier EdTech trade show and it will serve as the anchor event of the delegation. EdTex brings together educators, technology providers, and public sector leaders to showcase the latest advancements in AI-enabled learning and immersive technologies. Participants will have the opportunity to:
- network with local and international players
- explore business prospects
- position themselves within Thailand’s growing digital education economy
This mission provided a strategic opportunity for EdTech companies, training providers, and solution developers seeking to enter or expand their presence in the fast-growing Southeast Asia and broader Indo-Pacific regions. By participating, delegates gain access to curated market insights, facilitated business connections, and on-the-ground exposure to two distinct markets.
We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from Canadian companies interested in joining this delegation to Singapore and Thailand.
This mission is ideal for EdTech companies, digital training providers, and education technology innovators with solutions that support lifelong learning, upskilling, and workforce transformation across institutional, corporate, and government settings.
Solutions of particular interest include (but are not limited to):
- AI-powered learning platforms and personalised content delivery tools
- Immersive and experiential learning technologies (e.g. AR/VR, simulation, 3D design)
