Event description

Gamescom is an annual trade show in Cologne, Germany. It is Europe's most important trade show for interactive entertainment, and the largest gaming event in the world. Through the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), Canada has had a strong presence at gamescom in recent years. More than 80 Canadian companies and organizations have participated, representing eight provinces.

The Canada Pavilion is a shared lounge and meeting space for Canadian companies to:

  • network
  • meet with buyers and contacts
  • connect with partners at Gamescom

All Canadian companies and groups attending can use the Canada Pavilion. It serves as a venue for networking receptions hosted by our partners.

The TCS in Berlin will create an online company directory of the participating Canadian companies through MeetToMatch. This directory will show the products and services of the Canadian delegation, giving participants greater visibility.

How the program works

  • B2B matchmaking: The TCS will organize curated B2B meetings, connecting Canadian companies with international partners, investors, and clients to explore new business opportunities.
  • Pavilion/exhibit: Showcase your company at the Canada Pavillion where your organization can have a booth located in a high-traffic area. 
  • Networking opportunities: Join TCS-hosted networking sessions to connect with key industry players, government representatives, and global leaders, fostering collaborations that support international growth.
