Event description

The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is supporting Canadian exporters at the 22nd Global Buyers Mission (GBM), a flagship business development event for value-added wood product manufacturers. Organized by BC Wood, GBM draws over 600 international delegates annually. The event has a proven track record of helping Canadian companies secure new business in global markets.

Trade Commissioners from the Pacific Regional Office and select Asian markets will be onsite to offer market insights, facilitate curated B2B meetings, and provide strategic advice to help participating companies expand their international presence.

By participating through the TCS, Canadian firms will gain direct access to qualified buyers, benefit from personalized matchmaking, and strengthen their export readiness in a highly targeted and supportive environment.

GBM also features technical workshops, site visits, and extended programming tailored to international buyer interests—further enhancing opportunities for meaningful engagement.

Interested Canadian companies can request an invitation to the Global Buyers Mission by contacting GBM directly:

Participants can request an invitation and register up until the day before the Global Buyers Mission. However, early registration is strongly encouraged.
