DAIMEX 2026 is the first edition of the international defence and aerospace event organized in the Baltic region. It is organized by the Lithuanian Defence and Security Industry Association (LDSIA), in collaboration with the Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia (FSDI Latvia) and the Estonian Defence and Aerospace Industry Association (EDIA). Canada will be a silver sponsor at the event.

DAIMEX 2026 will serve as a platform for:

  • facilitating dialogue between military leadership, policymakers, and the global defence community
  • strengthening the industrial ecosystem of the Baltic nations and their cooperation with NATO allies
  • showcasing local and international defence solutions to Baltic armed forces and procurement authorities

The event will operate on a rotating model, with future editions planned for Latvia in 2027 and Estonia in 2028.

DAIMEX 2026 is built on three main pillars:

  • High-level defence conference (May 12): Held in Vilnius, this strategic forum will feature keynote speeches from the Ministers of Defence of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The conference focuses on regional defence policy, capability development, and procurement.
  • Exhibition and live demonstrations (May 13): This component will allow companies to demonstrate defence technologies and systems in realistic field conditions to military end-users and decision-makers. It will be hosted at the General Silvestras Žukauskas Training Area in Pabradė, around 50 km from Vilnius.
  • Business-to-business (B2B) and industrial cooperation meetings (May 14): Held in Vilnius, this structured matchmaking program designed to facilitate joint R&D, supply chain integration, and technology transfer.
