Event description

ILA Berlin is one of the world’s premier aerospace trade shows, bringing together the full value chain across civil aviation, space, and defence. Held every two years, the event continues to grow in scale and influence. The 2024 edition attracted:

  • 95,000 visitors from more than 60 countries
  • 600 exhibitors from 31 countries
  • over 350 speakers

Canadian participation at ILA Berlin is also on the rise. Four Canadian companies exhibited in 2024, and six are expected to take part in 2026. This year’s edition will highlight the transformation of civil aviation toward climate neutrality. The space Pavilion will demonstrate how space technologies contribute to life on Earth. The defence section will show the increasing importance of sovereignty and security in today’s geopolitical landscape.

ILA Berlin offers Canadian companies a unique platform to:

  • explore business development opportunities in Germany and Europe
  • identify science and technology partners
  • engage directly with policymakers and government stakeholders from Germany and across Europe

TCS program

We’re offering a dedicated Canada program at ILA Belin 2026, including:

  • a high‑level reception at the Embassy of Canada on June 9, 2026
  • support with business-to-business (B2B) meetings before and during the show
  • access to a free B2B networking platform
  • pitching and networking opportunities with German and European industry leaders
  • guided visits to static displays and key booths, including Airbus and the German Space Agency, tailored to company interests
