Event description

The World Geothermal Congress (WGC) 2026 will be hosted by Geothermal Canada and the International Geothermal Association in Calgary on June 8 to 11, 2026. This triennial event, last held in Beijing in 2023, will take place in North America for the first time this year. The WGC 2026 offers an opportunity to meet key industry players over a 4-day program, which includes a business conference and trade show followed by optional field trips to relevant sites in:

  • Alberta
  • British Columbia
  • Saskatchewan
  • Northwest Territories
  • Yukon

Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) business program

Trade Commissioners from around the world will organize commercial delegations to attend this event, creating opportunities for Canadian companies to connect with international stakeholders and potential customers. Details on the structure of these delegations and business-to-business meetings will be shared closer to the event. 

All participants in the TCS program at WGC 2026 must register separately to attend the conference.
