Event description

The third edition of the Lithium Business event, organized by R2 Valor Público, will take place in the Lithium Valley in the state of Minas Gerais. The event aims to improve the business environment in the Jequitinhonha Valley and support economic development in one of the most underserved regions of the state.

R2 Valor Público is working with several local partners, including:

  • municipal governments
  • academic institutions
  • business associations
  • private sector companies

Alongside the event, the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Brazil will organize:

  • a technical panel to showcase Canadian expertise in:
    • corporate training
    • responsible business conduct (RBC)
    • Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) principles
    • critical minerals
  • informal meetings with exhibitors at the trade show
  • a site visit to Pilbara Minerals
