  • government representatives

The trade show and conference focus on clean technologies and automation, as well as energy transition priorities such as critical minerals policy and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) compliance. These themes aim to reduce the environmental impact of mining operations while improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Alongside the event, the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Brazil will organize a targeted program to showcase Canadian capabilities in clean technology, artificial intelligence, automation and innovation. Activities will include:

  • a networking breakfast and happy hour in partnership with FIEMG-LAB
  • opportunities to connect with local mining companies
  • site visits to a mining operation near Belo Horizonte
  • a site visit to the SENAI-CIT R&D centre focused on magnets and rare earth elements
