Event description

Gamescom is an annual trade show in Cologne, Germany. It is Europe's most important trade show for interactive entertainment, and the largest gaming event in the world. Canada, through the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), has had a strong presence at Gamescom in recent years, with participation from more than 80 Canadian companies and organizations.

The Canada Pavilion serves as a shared lounge and meeting space for the Canadian delegation participating through the TCS. It provides TCS clients with a central hub to network, meet buyers and industry contacts, and explore partnership opportunities. The Pavilion is accessible to all Canadian organizations attending gamescom as part of the official TCS delegation.

To further support visibility and business development, the TCS in Berlin will create an online company directory. This platform will showcase the products and services of participating Canadian companies, helping to connect them with international partners and enhance their exposure during the event.

Testimonials

“The pavilion was great, and great to be located next to the Quebec booth. The TCS staff on site were wonderful to work with.”

“The support was very much appreciated -- I feel that it was very important to have a designated meeting location that created a Canadian presence at the biggest games conference in the world. I also think that it was a place of comfort for studios visiting for the first time.”
