With COP 31 taking place in Türkiye in November 2026, the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Türkiye has launched a virtual business-to-business (B2B) program for Canadian companies looking to explore commercial opportunities in the green transition across Türkiye. The program facilitates virtual one-on-one meetings between pre-qualified companies from Türkiye, and eligible Canadian firms leading up to COP 31.

Participants must be registered to attend COP 31, noting that priority will be given to those accredited to COP 31. Applicants may apply while COP registration/accreditation is pending, however, participation in the program will only be confirmed upon receipt of registration/accreditation. How the program works
Turkish companies will evaluate the applications of Canadian firms and select those that align with their needs for virtual B2B meetings throughout the fall. Only selected companies will be contacted for meetings. B2B meeting facilitation is managed by Sistem Global, with a presence
in Türkiye.
Program timeline
Expressions of interest from Canadian companies will be collected until September 4, 2026. Local companies will evaluate the applications of Canadian firms and select those that align with their priorities by September 25, 2026. Selected companies will be contacted for B2B meeting arrangements by October 7, 2026. Pre-arranged virtual B2B meetings will take place between October 14 and October 28, 2026, in English.
