Event description

The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), in partnership with the World Trade Centre Winnipeg and the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce, is pleased to host an exclusive, curated business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking program for Canada-based companies and organizations on the margins of the 2026 World Indigenous Business Forum (WIBF).

Designed to build meaningful business connections, the program will facilitate targeted 1-on-1 meetings between Canada-based participants and international and/or other Canada-based Indigenous companies, organizations, nations, communities and other potential buyers, sellers and partners. These matchmaking sessions are intended to support trade, collaboration, and partnership opportunities across a range of sectors.

There is no fee to participate in the B2B matchmaking program. However, participants are responsible for arranging and covering all travel-related expenses.

World Indigenous Business Forum

The World Indigenous Business Forum is one of the world's leading events focused on Indigenous economic development. It brings together Indigenous entrepreneurs, business leaders, government representatives, international organizations, nations and community leaders from around the world to advance trade, investment, innovation, and sustainable economic growth for Indigenous Peoples.

There is no fee to participate in the B2B matchmaking program. However, participants are responsible for arranging and covering all travel-related expenses.

Registration

This B2B matchmaking program is independent of the official WIBF program. Participation in the matchmaking program does not require registration for the World Indigenous Business Forum. Organizations interested in attending WIBF must register separately for the event.
