Event description

The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) in Seoul is organizing the Canada Pavilion at BIXPO 2026 to help Canadian companies explore business opportunities in South Korea’s dynamic energy sector. BIXPO is a leading international platform that connects global energy innovators with key utilities, technology developers, and industry decision-makers.

Through this initiative, Canadian companies will showcase solutions in areas such as:

  • renewable energy
  • hydrogen and fuel cells
  • Carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS)
  • smart grid
  • AI- and internet of things (IoT)-enabled energy systems

Participants will gain market visibility, engage in targeted business-to-business (B2B) meetings with Korean partners, and receive on-the-ground support from the TCS. Optional site visits to major Korean energy companies on November 3 will provide further insights into market needs and opportunities.

This program will help participants build strategic partnerships, identify commercial opportunities, and position their technologies within Korea’s evolving energy ecosystem.

  • Business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking: The TCS organizes curated B2B meetings, connecting Canadian companies with international partners, investors, and clients to explore new business opportunities.
  • Pavilion/exhibit: Showcase your company at the Canada Pavillion where your organization can have a booth located in a high-traffic area.
  • Networking opportunities: Join TCS-hosted networking sessions to connect with key industry players, government representatives, and global leaders, fostering collaborations that support international growth.
