MEDICA/Compamed trade fair

MEDICA/Compamed trade fair is one of the world’s largest medical trade fairs and a leading platform for showcasing innovations in healthcare technologies, medical devices, and digital health solutions. In 2025, Medica attracted over 78,000 visitors from 160 countries and featured 5,300 exhibitors from 70 nations, attracting buyers, distributors, and decision-makers from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East making it a critical venue for Canadian companies seeking to do business in Germany, Europe and the world.

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) will support Canadian companies attending MEDICA/Compamed through the following activities: 

• Canada Pavilion: A central hub on the exhibit floor for Canadian participants to connect with European industry leaders. 
• Networking Reception: At the Canada Pavilion, celebrating Canada-Germany milestones. 
• B2B Matchmaking: together with German partners (associations, clusters) DDORF will offer a matchmaking activity. 
• Export Café: meet Trade Commissioner from Europe and learn about their markets 
• Optional exhibiting opportunity: Limited turnkey booth space may be available on a first come - first serve basis within a larger international pavilion located adjacent to the Canada Pavilion. Participation arrangements and costs would be managed directly with the external organizer.
