Event description

Mining Indaba is the world’s largest event dedicated to the capitalisation and development of mining interests in Africa. The event brings together more than 6,500 leaders and decision-makers from across the global mining value chain.

Alongside the main program, the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) will host a Canada-focused side program designed to connect Canadian mining and supply chain companies with African and international partners. Participants will benefit from tailored B2B meetings, curated networking opportunities, and on-the-ground support from Trade Commissioners with deep knowledge of local markets.

Trade Commissioners covering Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Egypt will also be present at the event. They can offer market intelligence and provide direct advice on business opportunities in their respective markets.

Through this program, Canadian companies can:

  • increase their visibility
  • showcase expertise in sustainable and innovative mining practices
  • build relationships that support long-term growth in Africa’s mining sector

Companies may also choose to explore the trade show independently, complementing the opportunities offered by the TCS program.
