Who should apply: The TCS programming around RES 2026 is intended for Indigenous businesses from Canada.

While all Indigenous businesses are welcome to join the TCS delegation, companies offering products or services in the following areas may benefit the most:

  • Food and beverage
  • Gaming and entertainment
  • Consumer products (including Indigenous art and traditional crafts, clothing, jewelry, gifts, etc.)
  • Natural resources/energy
  • Infrastructure/construction/building products
  • Information and communication technologies (tech)
  • Professional services

Event description

Reservation Economic Summit (RES) 2026 is a four-day event offering many networking activities and business development sessions, as well as a matchmaking platform for participating suppliers and buyers. 

Additionally, the TCS and the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) are partnering to organize the following activities for participating indigenous businesses from Canada:

  • Preparatory webinars to help companies make the most of their participation in the event
  • A matchmaking program that will compliment RES’s online matchmaking platform (accessible to all participants)
  • A Canada booth to help increase the visibility of the delegation, where Indigenous businesses may be able to display company brochures and small product samples
  • A Canada reception and other networking opportunities
  • A directory of Indigenous businesses from Canada

How the program works

  • B2B matchmaking: The TCS and NCAIED will organize curated B2B meetings, connecting Canadian companies with international partners, investors, and clients to explore new business opportunities.
  • Pavilion/exhibit: Showcase your company at the Canada Pavillion where your organization can have a booth located in a high-traffic area.  
  • Networking opportunities: Join TCS and NCAIED -hosted networking sessions to connect with key industry players, government representatives, and global leaders, fostering collaborations that support international growth.
