Event description

The International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) is one of the world's leading defence and security events. It attracts 200,000 visitors, bringing together government representatives, military officials, industry leaders, and decision-makers from across the globe.

The Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is organizing the Canada Pavilion at IDEX 2027 in Abu Dhabi. Selected Canadian companies will have the opportunity to exhibit within the Pavilion, providing a premium platform to showcase their capabilities and connect with international buyers, partners, and government stakeholders.

Participating companies will benefit from a high-visibility presence at the show, access to curated networking and business development opportunities, and on-the-ground support from Trade Commissioners to help identify and pursue opportunities in key international markets.

  • Business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking: The TCS organizes curated B2B meetings, connecting Canadian companies with international partners, investors, and clients to explore new business opportunities.
  • Export Café: Attend individual meetings with Trade Commissioners from different international markets.
  • Pavilion/exhibit: Showcase your company at the Canada Pavillion where your organization can have a booth located in a high-traffic area.
  • Networking opportunities: Join TCS-hosted networking sessions to connect with key industry players, government representatives, and global leaders, fostering collaborations that support international growth.
