Event description

The Embassy of Canada in France, in partnership with Tranoï, a leading platform connecting fashion brands, designers and buyers, is organizing a professional showroom in Paris to promote selected Canadian brands to French buyers and increase their visibility in the French market.

Over two days, selected companies will have a dedicated exhibition space at the Embassy of Canada to showcase their collections and meet buyers. The objective is to strengthen business relationships and create new commercial opportunities in the French market.

This initiative is part of the Government of Canada’s efforts to support the international growth of Canadian companies and diversify their export markets.

What the program includes

Selected brands will benefit from:

  • a professional showroom at the Embassy of Canada in Paris on January 20 and 21, 2027
  • meetings with buyers, retailers, concept stores and department stores in the women's and men's fashion and accessories sectors, organized by Tranoï
  • preparatory webinars organized by the Embassy of Canada and Tranoï to help participants maximize the commercial impact of the event
  • targeted follow-up support with buyers, where appropriate

Eligibility criteria

The program is open to companies that meet the following criteria:

  • be a legally incorporated Canadian company
  • have an established brand that has been operating for at least 3 years
  • have a structured collection that is ready for international markets
  • have the necessary sales tools, such as a collection catalogue, price list, brand guide, inventory information and delivery timelines
  • demonstrate readiness and capacity for international business development
  • commit to participating in all program-related activities

Companies that are majority-owned by one or more women are particularly encouraged to apply.

Application package

Applications must include:

  • a company profile and presentation
  • a presentation of the collection (winter collection, men's and/or women's fashion and accessories)
  • commercial information, including a list of current and past points of sale with dates and relevant website links, price lists and delivery timelines
  • information on international presence and business activities or, alternatively, demonstrated interest in and capacity for international expansion
  • any documentation that supports the evaluation of the application, such as a collection catalogue, brand guide or inventory information

Applications may be submitted in either English or French.

  • Preparatory activities: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 (dates to be confirmed)
  • Showroom installation: Afternoon of January 19, 2027
  • Showroom: January 20 and 21, 2027, at the Embassy of Canada in Paris

Program activities may take place in French or English. A good understanding of both languages is considered an asset to fully benefit from the program. Transportation and accommodation costs are the responsibility of selected companies.

  • Business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking: The TCS organizes curated B2B meetings, connecting Canadian companies with international partners, investors, and clients to explore new business opportunities.
