Avalon Airshow 2027

Following successful Canadian participation at Avalon 2023 and Avalon 2025, Canada is expanding its presence at Avalon 2027 to advance commercial, innovation, and research opportunities for Canadian organizations in Australia. As Australia’s premier aerospace and defence event, Avalon provides a platform to connect Canadian companies and institutions with defence primes, government decision-makers, industry partners, and leading research organizations.

The initiative is led by the Trade Commissioner Service and Team Canada partners from Ontario, Alberta and Quebec. It will feature a Canada Pavilion, targeted business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) matchmaking, and a Canberra-Melbourne roadshow for 10 to 15 high-potential Canadian organizations.

The program aims to strengthen supply chain integration, foster bilateral innovation and research partnerships, support export diversification and reinforce Canada’s position as a trusted long-term partner in Australia’s aerospace and defence ecosystem.

This year, we’re excited to also welcome Canadian cleantech companies offering dual-use solutions that could support Australia’s defence sector. This includes solutions such as clean power for stationary and mobile applications, energy optimization, and hybrid microgrids.

We will host an informational webinar on Thursday September 24 from 5:30 to 6:30pm ET (Friday September 25 at 7:30am to 8:30am  AEST). Once registered, you will be added to the Teams webinar calendar invitation.

Join the Canadian delegation

Companies interested in joining the Canadian delegation and participating in TCS programming, including B2B meetings, should express their interest by October 31, 2026. We encourage interested companies to attend the information webinar to register.

Attend Avalon independently

Companies that want to attend Avalon without participating in TCS programming will need to register directly with the event. Registration is not yet open, but you can join the Avalon 2027 mailing list for updates.

Attendance is limited to participants in the defence and aerospace industry and is subject to approval.

The trade portion of Avalon runs from February 23 to noon on February 26, 2027. TCS programming will not be offered during the public days, which run from noon on February 26 to February 28.
