Event description
Mass Black Expo 2024: Building Black Wealth in the Commonwealth is a two-day expo that brings together hundreds of Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals, offering purchasing opportunities, capacity-building resources, and opportunities for skill development and career advancement.
This event attracts a large number of potential partners and buyers, including Massachusetts state and local procurement officials. It offers participating companies opportunities to foster relationships and expand their market access in the US. There are further opportunities for Canadian suppliers as state-funded construction now has a mandate to have a percentage of minority-owned sub-contractors.
Up to four Black-owned cleantech/climatetech businesses will be selected to exhibit and take advantage of on-site networking at the expo, gain potential investment relationships, and benefit from a personalized program of meetings with key local contacts on Thursday, October 24. The expo runs October 25-26.
There is no cost to the companies to exhibit at the expo and while funding opportunities to assist with travel costs are being pursued, financial assistance is not guaranteed.
