Event description

Web Summit Vancouver is a significant gathering in the tech industry, bringing together a diverse group of participants. Attendees include entrepreneurs, investors, and technology leaders from around the world. The conference will highlight the latest trends and innovations in technology, offering opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing. It will also help build global business connections and strengthen Canada’s position as a leader in innovation.

Alongside last year’s event, we've organized a business program between Canadian technology companies, international technology buyers and venture capital investors. The program sparked new international connections and created valuable leads for Canadian companies.

During the Web Summit Vancouver 2026, we're organizing a business program, leveraging the expertise available from:

  • international trade commissioners and their delegates
  • partners across government departments
  • industry associations
  • accelerators

Testimonials

“Participating in the TCS program at Web Summit Vancouver 2025 was a valuable experience for Sequencr AI. The support and professionalism of the Trade Commissioner Service helped us initiate meaningful conversations with international investors. The access and exposure TCS enabled would have been difficult to replicate on our own. Programs like this are incredibly important for early-stage and scaling Canadian companies.”

Matt Collette, CEO, Sequencr AI

“Once again, the Trade Commission came through for us with quality B2B meetings during an event. The imprimatur of the TC helps land high-quality leads that we would not normally have access to. And, being able to identify which trade commissioner was associated with each lead helped us request assistance in closing meeting requests. We landed 10 meetings out of 12 requests made, which we feel was an excellent ratio. We are now following up with the leads that were generated as part of the B2B meeting process.”
