The Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) in Taipei is recruiting companies that offer solutions relevant to the AI applications and deep technologies in various sectors.
Through this business development program, you will gain access to leading companies in the global information and communications technology sector and validate your technology. You will also benefit from strategic partnerships between Canada and Taiwanese industries.

Who should apply
The program is designed to help Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises expand their business networks in Taiwan and foster strategic partnerships with Taiwanese industry stakeholders.
The program is most suitable for Canadian companies in scale-up stage with innovative AI solutions or deep engineering technologies that can be applied in the following areas:
- Edge Computing (high-performance enabler, low power consumption enabler etc.)
- Advanced Communication (5G, 6G, GEO satellite, MEO satellite, LEO satellite etc.)
- Semiconductor applications (new materials, chip design, manufacturing, waste management etc.)
- Smart Mobility (EV, UMV, AMR etc.)
Companies aiming to achieve the following goals will get the most out of the program:
- Joint development for prototyping and commercialization
- Proof-of-Concept (POC) or pilot project opportunities
- Market testing or business development in Taiwan and beyond
- Mass production or reduction of manufacturing cost
- Corporate venture capital financing
Companies should already have some success in the market, ideally with successful use cases in North America, Europe, or Asia, and a clear strategy to enter Taiwan and/or Asia.

How the program works
The Taipei CTA collaborates with several local partners to deliver the program. The program begins in early April 2025 and ends in June 2025. Participants are recommended to make an in-market visit during the anchor event, COMPUTEX and InnoVEX 2025, from May 20 to 23, 2025.
