Spotlight: Indigenous trade mission to New Zealand

The Trade Commissioner Service and the Indigenous Business team hosted a trade mission to the World Indigenous Business Forum (WIBF) in Rotorua, New Zealand from October 8 to 12, 2018.

Led by Omar Alghabra, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of International Trade Diversification, 37 Canadian delegates experienced the Māori culture and learned from their Māori counterparts. They heard from global Indigenous business and community leaders, and made valuable connections with other Indigenous businesses
